Dog Handling Tips: Blossom – 6 month old female Cross-Breed

Blossom is a 6 month old female Cross-Breed. She has come to us to find her a new home through no fault of her own, she is an adorable little girl who will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day as she is a young pup. She is fine with older teenagers and would really love the company of another similar sized resident dog who loves to play. Like most young dogs life is all about fun! She may be small but do not let this fool you into thinking she doesn’t need good walks and lots of mental as well as physical stimulation. She is a very busy little lady.

Anyone applying for Blossom needs to be aware that her coat will require regular grooming and appointments at the groomers. This is an essential need for Blossom as her coat will very easily become matted and she could then develop skin issues. She is in good condition and has recently been to the groomers. Please consider fully the time and cost to maintain her coat before applying.

Blossom will need to continue with her training to ensure she grows into a well rounded adult dog. She is doing well in foster and her housetraining is good, she walks well on lead but as with most young dogs she can pull a bit but this is easily corrected. She sleeps well at night in her crate and is both clean and quiet.

Blossom has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She is currently being fostered in Uckfield, East Sussex.
