Dog Handling Tips: Abby and Penny Ruby – 7 year old female English Cocker Spaniels

Abby and Penny Ruby are 7 year old female English Cocker Spaniels. Abby and Penny have come to us to find their forever home, they are bonded so we really would like a home where they can stay together. Abby does have a grade 5 heart murmur and is on medications to maintain her heart, currently she is doing really well and although an older girl her health is very stable. We will be happy to discuss medication etc with suitable applicants.

Penny has a grade 1 murmur which does not currently require medication. She has no other health issues. Both girls are clean in the house and are fine with other dogs. They do enjoy a walk albeit at a gentle pace for Abby. We would love for them to be together, they would be fine to be re homed with other similar sized dogs, equally they will be fine together.

We would like new owners who are around for a good part of the day as they do love their human company, of course a comfy sofa and lots of cuddles is also a pre requisite for Abby and Penny. They are fine with children but older teenagers only please as they deserve lots of pampering and a quieter life.

Both girls travel well in the car and are clean in the house, they do need gentle reminders to visit the garden especially when cuddled up and comfortable. Penny and Abby are great with everyone they meet and are very sweet girls.

Abby and Penny have been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and are up to date with flea and worming treatment. We have also given both full dentals as it is important to maintain good oral hygiene to preserve heart health as dental disease can contribute to heart issues. They are currently being fostered in Tatsfield Surrey TN16.
