Dog Handling Tips: Max – 2 year old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Max is a 2 year old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Max is a really adorable lad who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He has led quite a sheltered life so can initially, be a little nervous of people and new surroundings. Once he has settled he is a really loving lad who adores attention. He loves his walks but does pull on the lead currently, he is not used to regular walks so this should soon settle. Max is great with other dogs but needs a cat free home. Max would like new owners who are around for most of the day as this is what he is used to, he has lived with children and is happy in their company.

Max travels well in the car after his initial reticence, he is not used to car travel but was clean and quiet on several journeys so we do not foresee any issue with travel for him. He is a larger size CKC weighing in at 15kg, he is not overweight but is a good solid lad. He has recently been neutered so has been marking in his foster home, we would expect this to settle quite quickly in his new home.

Max is currently being fostered in Bromley Kent. He has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
