Filly – 3 year old female Cross-Breed

Let us introduce you to stunning Filly. Filly has lived in a home since she was a puppy, but through no fault of her own, is having to be rehomed. She is 3 years old, and lives near Bath in Somerset. Filly is a beautiful girl and is about the same size as a Labrador, and weighing in at 29kg. Filly is living with 2 children who she adores, they are over 8 years old. Sadly due to the adopters work commitments Filly needs to be rehomed as she is being left for long periods alone.

This is what her dog walker said about her: “Filly is a lovely dog, when I first started walking her over a year ago she was very boisterous and excitable but now she’s much calmer and learnt when to leave other dogs alone when they don’t want to play which means she fits nicely into any pack. Since I’ve know her she learnt to walk well on the lead and only now pulls if she sees a cat! I always walk her off the lead because she doesn’t go far and she’ll come back when she’s ready which is never a long time. Her recall does need work but she’s clever and have no doubt with some training this can be achieved. She loves playing ball games too which makes her fun to be with. I’ll definitely miss walking her.”

Filly cannot be homed with cats or small furries. Filly is a big dog, who would benefit from being in a home where someone has time to give her long walks, and a bit of company she is missing at the moment. She would fit into a new home relatively easily. Filly is neutered and up to date with her vaccinations. Homecheck and Adoption fees apply.
