Zara is a 2-year old female Cross-Breed who is being fostered in the Midlands. She just loves to have cuddles on her terms and is trying very hard to be brave with other people. She has come a long way but still has a long way to go. Zara is happy around people if she knows you. She is still fearful of anything new and is very scared of new people. Zara enjoys being with other dogs and at least one resident dog is a must. Zara can be left for short periods although she will bark initially. Zara will chew if allowed, particularly leather, paper and plants. She is a greedy girl and will try to eat the other dogs if she gets a chance. Zara is still very nervous and will react to most new things. Being on a lead and venturing out and about is all new to Zara and further training will be required.
Zara needs a very quiet home ideally with another dog to learn from. Zara has become very loving with her foster mum and loves to cuddle and lick first thing in the morning, in particular. She is very happy to have cuddles during the day but is still not happy if approach which is why toilet/lead training is taking so long. She has become very puppy-like and loves toys.
Please remember, if you have a dog and it is not neutered, it is against our policies to re-home a dog with you.
Zara is neutered, chipped, vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worming treatment. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in the Midlands.
If you are interested in adopting Zara please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
