The lovely Storm is an 8 year old spayed Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a loving retirement home. Storm has had a few homes in her life. She started off as a breeding bitch and had many litters of puppies. When the breeder died she was given to a neighbour and was very happy there until her owner emigrated. She was then handed into rescue. She was homed but was recently returned due to a new baby being born. Storm gets worried about tiny children and is far more confident with adults or older children (12 years plus). On the whole she has a lovely nature. She becomes very bonded to her new owner and this can slip into separation anxiety, which has been bought on by the amount of moves she has had. She prefers someone to be at home for the majority of the day, hence would suit an older or retired couple to spend the rest of her days with.
When she arrived into rescue she had to be spayed and fully vaccinated. She also had a much needed dental and had various fatty lumps removed. She has not been assessed with cats so she needs a cat free home. She could live with an older larger castrated male, but nothing too nutty!
Her recall is very good, although she is hard of hearing, so she will watch where her handler is more so than listening for instruction.
To confirm, Storm is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
A homecheck will be required and there is a minimum adoption fee of £150
