The beautiful Ruby is 4 year old female Beagle. Ruby will need to be the only dog in the house as she is food proud around other dogs. Due to this is it also best if Rubys new home has children aged 11+. Ruby is a bouncy dog so will need quite an active home where she can go out on long walks to sniff at every inch of the world. She loves to be around people and have fuss, she will roll onto her back a lot of the time when being handled. She is a very sweet girl with a comical side to her, she is very loving and is happy just getting some fuss. You will have years of fun with her by your side. She is good with other dogs from what we have seen but will continue this observation whilst she is here. She would be able to walk and socialize with other dogs well when out on a walk.
Ruby can be slightly unsure of some things, a grooming brush and squeaky toys so far we have noticed can unnerve her. She responds to this by trying to get away and hiding herself from it. Her new home would ideally have someone in the house quite a lot of the time as Beagles are known to suffer with separation issues and feel she would just be happier when with someone most of the day. Ruby came into us as she was living with another dog but got food possessive towards them, when food was not around she was very good with the dog.
