Dog Handling Tips: Owen and Oliver – 12 year old male Cross-Breeds

Owen is a 12 year old male Cross-Breed. He came to us as his owner was working longer hours and he doesnt like being left alone. He does suffer with separation anxiety so would need help and guidance with this. In his last home he was known to become destructive when left for long periods. He came in with his pal Oliver, they are very bonded to each other so would be better if rehomed together. His ideal home would be a quiet place where his human is in the majority of the time. He needs somewhere to lay his head and retire. A home with children 13+ is advised only as in his time of life he enjoys the peace and quiet.

Owen is a very affectionate boy who loves a good fuss. He isnt that interested in playing he just wants someone to sit next to him and give him love. He does walk okay he intentionally pulls but soon settles down. He so far has shown no interest in passing dogs but this observation is still on going.
