Jack is a 13 year old (young) Jack Russell Terrier who was rehomed by us as a young dog and very sadly now needs to come back in to rescue to find another home. He is not great with other dogs so needs to be in a dog free foster or forever home.
He needs an adult home who will allow Jack to come to them when he is ready as he doesn’t like to be overwhelmed. Occasional visiting older children would be fine provided Jack has a secure area he can go to whilst they visit.
He does have some arthritis in his back and takes regular medication for this. He enjoys a gentle walk and is also happy to potter in the garden. Jack is not a demanding dog.
He loves a comfortable bed and is looking for a nice retirement home. He is clean in the house and is a very easy little lad who will make a great companion in the right home.
Jack would like new owner/s who are around for a good part of the day and who are experienced dog owners. There is the possibility that Jack will remain as a long term foster under the rescue. Finding him the right home is the priority as he is going to be bewildered at losing everything familiar to him and we don’t want him to have to go through this again if it can be avoided.
He is currently in Luton, Bedfordshire. Jack has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment.
